Remember my Google test a few months ago about Hulk Wang and Bajinas? Neither does anyone else. However, the test results were interesting.

So today I looked at my Google Analytics to see what search terms are bringing people here. Apparently it’s all about the men. My posts about Robert Buckley, Bo Burnham and Bret Ryan all garner the most searches. More people seem to care about them than me even!

I’m so sad.

PS: Not really

PPS: Just keep reading my blog, I don’t care why.

When I first moved to B.C. everyone told me B.C. stood for “Bring Cash” – a fun little play on the percieved expense of living in this wonderland. Today was B.C. day and given the crowds at Metrotown, I think that’s what B.C. Day is about.

I did my part, buying groceries for the family (nothing else, despite an intention to buy pants and socks) and lunch. While out there, I stumbled upon a gaggle or 2 of teenaged girls screaming for their latest minute-long crush – Bret Ryan. Chris and I couldn’t help but mock the publicity photos on the stage. He looked like a 2008 version of Rod Stewart from the 70′s. Seriously. See the picture. The one in the suit. Rod Stewart or Leif Garret.

So – I didn’t wait for him to take the stage, I went and did my thing then came back. He’s a cute kid, winning smile, lion’s mane of shaggy blonde (ish) hair etc. but man, the acoustics at Metrotown and the over-echoy production made the music impossible to listen too.

This was the end of his 11 date coast-to-coast tour brought to us by Family Channel. I wish him well. Maybe he’ll hook up with Miley Cyrus and make babies with beautiful hair and record deals, but no talent. Ouch.

His unofficial MySpace page has more interesting photos.
