Untitled Monday blog
Man, time sure flies. The weekend is over. Technically, I start my holiday tomorrow (today as it’s now 2:55am) and I’m off all week. Somehow, I imagine that the week will go by very quickly.
Chris & I looked at an apartment today, very nice, but a little small. We’ll be looking at something a little larger later this week, and a few other choices.
This week, I hope to watch a few movies, work on http://spiritbears.jeffrose.ca as well as re-design http://www.jeffrose.ca – which are big enough, but also delve deep into the world of Affiliate Marketing…. As a means to making more money, do pay for that new apartment, future house, and other toys we want…

Look at that… consistent posting… That’s great.
So I lost 4.5 pounds in the last week. Yup. Good for me. Like I said, it’s coming off. I just need to keep at it, and start exercising… I’m probably nearing a plateau… Feels like I should be.
I’ve been a member of TOPS (TOPS 1390-Burnaby, BC, Canada) for over 2 years now. In fact, I was just voted as Leader for the coming year. Wow. It’s quite a bit of work, but I really enjoy the support I get by going to the meeting weekly. It also is a very non-judgemental group. If you gain, we support you, if you lose, we congratulate you. It’s really pretty awesome.
So – turns out I’ve got next week off from work… All that time, so many things I want to do, I wonder what I’ll actually get accomplished…
The things you learn
Here we are at the end of another weekend. Time goes by very, very quickly when you’re older. I mean, I didn’t have a birthday, but my boyfriend Chris did. He’s 31. He dealt with this sudden jump in age fairly well, and I teased him a lot. 
He keeps reminding me that I’ll always be at least 5 years older than him. I say at least because right now it’s 5, in 2 months after my birthday, it’ll be 6 again…
So, what did I learn? I forget. There was some profound revelation. Not just that I’m rapidly speeding forward, or that time seems to accelerate, but something else. Well, I lost it. That’s old age for you…
But seriously, I just read a very cool article on CSS… Cascading Style Sheets. Ok, those words probably don’t appear in a group like that, but I did learn a lot from it. Like how to simulate a FRAME with a single page… Scrollbars and all, without using an IFRAME or anything else… Very cool. Well, to me…. I am hoping to find the next design for my website soon, that’ll be cool.
Oh, and I’ll be an uncle for the first time in about 3 weeks…. April 21… Which is more exciting than I’ve let on, or let myself realize…. Perhaps that’s another sign of getting old… milestones like UNCLE, which thankfully has held off until now.
Anyway, it was a good weekend, and tomorrow I’m back to the mines (as they say).
